Construction Defect Mediation and Litigation
Mr. Hoelsken's unique background combines hand on construction experience with a strong academic interest in the natural and earth sciences. His responsibilities within the firm make full use of this background as he works closely with the firm's full time general contractor and develops a specialty in toxic mold issues and land subsidence. Mr. Hoelsken is also active in the firm's efforts to encourage legislative responsiveness to the needs of consumers.
Distinction
As an undergraduate at the University of California Berkeley, Mr. Hoelsken studied Rhetoric and Environmental Science Policy and Management. He was active in several public interest organizations and performed a number of public speeches on the issues of homelessness and environmental protection. While in law school, Mr. Hoelsken continued his commitment to the environment by remaining politically active and by becoming an Associate Editor for the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.
