Construction Defect Mediation and Litigation
John H. Toohey has the unique responsibility of developing a strong single family residential litigation department within the law firm. His duties include coordinating homeowner investigations, homeowner forums, litigation management and mediation. His is also actively involved in a number of chapters of the Community Associations Institute and is a member of California Association of Community Managers.
Distinction
Mr. Toohey joins us from one of California's largest law firms where he practiced products liability and business litigation. He is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court, Southern District. While in law school, Mr. Toohey had the privilege of externing in the construction defect department of the San Diego Superior Court with the Honorable Robert E. May. He was also an intern with the United States Attorney's Office, Appellate Division. John was a member of the Honor Advocacy Team.
