Sascha M. Macias
Attorney
Sascha Macias has served the community association industry for over 20 years, aiding homeowner’s association boards and community managers. Her extensive experience in the community management space, coupled with her association general counsel experience, gives her a unique ability to serve our association clients. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Sascha also holds her Professional Community Association Management (PCAM) designation.
In her role with The Miller Law Firm, Sascha works directly with our association clients throughout the claim process, from inspections and testing to mediation and arbitration. Sascha’s unique experience makes her particularly well-suited to communicate clearly and effectively with both the Board of Directors and homeowners, ensuring all parties receive up-to-date communication and regular case updates.
DISTINCTIONS
Graduated Cum Laude, Order of the Coif from LMU Loyola Law School. She also received both the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers and the LLS Dean’s Service Award—honors awarded to only one student per university.
Throughout law school, she was a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society and a Sayre Macneil Scholar. She also served as both President and Vice President of the Evening Student Bar Association, advocating for non-traditional and first-generation law students.
She is a member of the National Association of Women Lawyers and continues to volunteer at LMU Loyola Law School in support of first-generation law students.
An active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for nearly 20 years, she previously served a six-year term on the CAI Greater Los Angeles Chapter (CAI-GLAC) Board, concluding her service as 2020 Chapter President. Throughout her CAI involvement, she has served on and chaired numerous committees. She currently serves as President-Elect on the CAI-GLAC Board of Directors, Co-Chair of the Programs and Expo Committee, and a member of both the Education Committee and Legislative Action Committee.
She is passionate about advancing education within the community association industry for both managers and board members.
